About This Game Welcome to the peculiar universe of ADIOS Amigos. A game with serious astrophysics in a comic setting for 1-4 players. Explore solar systems in the quest to find your home in this space physics odyssey.FeaturesPilot a space ship with a realistic but intuitive handling.Exit the ship whenever you like to explore on foot.A new experience every time you play with procedural generation.Deep orbital mechanics with a friendly user interface.Micro gravity gameplay in open space, asteroid fields or even inside space stations.Local co-op multiplayer for 1-4 player with dynamic split screen.Detailed physical simulation of entire solar systems including gravity, temperature, and atmosphere.Rookie mode for young children or inexperienced gamers.Funky original soundtrack - With saxophone solos!Three campaigns that can be played as a single player or cooperatively. No weapons or killing (although horrible accidents may occur). The Cosmic Clockwork In ADIOS Amigos the simulation controls everything. Nudge an asteroid with your ship and it might come crashing down on you as you walk around on a planet minutes later. Day and night cycles are caused by the planets rotations and we even simulate temperature and air resistance. You are free to do anything within the confines of the simulation. Focus on keeping your ship alive to reach your home planet or try riding a sofa into a black hole. Only your imagination set the limits!Rookie ModeIn Rookie mode it is possible for players of different skill levels to play together. Parents can play with their young children. Or gamers can play with their less talented parents and siblings. Rookie mode makes the controls easier and stops the player from doing obviously dangerous things. 7aa9394dea Title: ADIOS Amigos: A Space Physics OdysseyGenre: Indie, SimulationDeveloper:Cosmic PicnicPublisher:Cosmic PicnicRelease Date: 12 Sep, 2018 ADIOS Amigos: A Space Physics Odyssey Download] [License] This is a really great little (big) game! It's not just about flying with Newtonian physics from planet to planet.During my first run I ran across an abandoned space station. I grappled onto ti, got out of my capsule, entered the station (none of this is explained in the tutorial I figured it out by chance) found a bunch of stuff inside the station to power my ship and got to the station's control room, booted up the engines and accidentally set the station on course with the system's sun. I was able to hop out into my ship just in time nearly burning up in the star's corona. Flooring the accelerator out of there in the nick of time! Only to slam into a passing asteroid, ending my short but sweet career. I LOVED IT!There's a lot of hours of fun to be had, especially if you enjoy exploring and flying with a great version of Newtonian physics . What I really like about Adios Amigos is that there isn't anything out to kill you... except the occasional piked plant life, tumbling rocks or asteroids caught by the planet's gravity.A fun game, well worth the price! :)NOTE: I was having TERRIBLE crashes every single time I tried playing it. The game would simply freeze. But I contacted the developer and ever since the last patch I haven't crashed once. GREAT JOB guys!. The best game I've played in a long time. What makes the game so good is the awesome physics model and the refreshing new game mechanics. Everyone that has once thought Angry Birds (or some other physics model based game) is great and is not afraid to face higher difficulty levels or roguelike games, should definitely try this. You can even increase speed of time and fly slowly to save fuel and perform gravitational slingshots. Easiest mode is winnable with rudimentary skills, but the highest difficulty level requires either really high skills or insane luck.Keep in mind that it is much more fun to have 2-4 controllers and invite friends over to play. It can be a ton of fun to tease buddies after accidents that happen when they panic and make mistakes. Eventually stuff gets easier with practice and it can be very rewarding to find just the right combination of boost-items to win the game even on the highest difficulty settings. With a bigger group of 3-4 players, I can say a big screen or a TV is very much recommended. Not that big screen is ever a bad thing...Best scores are saved on 6 different tables so you can see how you'd compare to people on Steam and that gives a lot of replay value. If you have a bigger team, there are extra discoveries that give more points, but they require the co-operation of all or some of the players, making them more difficult to obtain. With bigger team you have a slightly better chance to excel on the high score list.Just make sure you have at least 1 controller (preferably 2-4) before purchasing so you can play with friends. Keyboard+Mouse is also a control option.Even if I tend to never recommend games here on steam, this is a game I got to recommend! Right about on par with FTL in quality and polish level. Both are roguelike, but this game happens in a fully real time environment with no timers to wait for. It really is awesome if you like physics, space and "super mario". I wish there were much more competition on best score lists. The sound environment with the music is truly awesome just like all the reviews here say.The only thing I am sort of missing in this game, is a tool for making a Finnish language localization mod for the game. I would be happy to do the translation work if presented with such an option. Nothing beats humor if heard in your native language. Although, I got to admit, the English jokes hidden in the game are good.If (hopefully when) the game gets more popularity, I also would like to see it on more platforms like Linux, Mac, Android and iOS.Special thanks for all the developers! I had a ton of fun (and still have) while playing the game! I will definitely check out all the new games they'll make in the future.. A true Idie game - fum, charming and complex all in the same package. The graphics are neat, and the gameplay really, really fun - with much to explore! It's like a rouge-like game had a baby with a space exploration game (Elite?), and the space physics of the game (moon lander, anyone?) really impresses. The only thing i would have liked to have added is: The game supports 4 player local - but I was expecting to conect up my second game (having second licence) on the local Lan, so that me and the son wouldn't have to share monitor, but alas - did not figure out how to do this. But overall a solid, superfun game.. An exceptional game best played with friends!. A true Idie game - fum, charming and complex all in the same package. The graphics are neat, and the gameplay really, really fun - with much to explore!
